The 2008 Appeals Team selection process was co-ordinated by Jeremy Malcolm as chair. The members of the NomCom selected according to the procedures outlined in the IGC Charter were Gao Mosweu, Solomon Gizaw, Jeremy Malcolm, Thomas Lowenhaupt, and Anriette Esterhuysen.
(Jeffrey A Williams who was originally selected by the nomcom process was replaced by Anriette Esterhuysen when he was unable to complete acceptance processes).
The Appeals Team selection process was completed on 26 January 2009 and the successful nominees were as follows:
